URBO-NKL runners-up Šakiai Vytis-VDU (18-7) easily returned to winning ways. Erikas Kučiauskas’s team defeated Vilkaviškis Perlas Go (14-12) 88-70 (31-15, 18-20, 18-20, 21-15) on the road.
The visitors started the game by scoring 9 unanswered points (9-0) and quickly sent the runners-up to the canvas with a 13-3 run (27-11). Šakiai won the first two quarters convincingly, 49-35.
At the start of the decisive quarter, the hosts cut the deficit to 7 points (60:67), but Vytis-VDU scored 7 unanswered points and did not allow them to get any closer – 74:60.
