After sinking three-pointers, VDU basketball players scored their second victory in the RKL A division

Birštonas Milasta (0-2) is still struggling to find its way to victory, losing 87:95 (14:19, 23:19, 14:29, 36:28) to Vytautas Magnus University (2-1) on the road.

The VDU team started the game better, quickly taking the lead (17:10), but Birštonas fought back after scoring their own points (23:22). With one minute left before the long break, Milasta’s players even took the lead (37:35), but Ričardas Butkus’ long-range shot allowed the hosts to go into the break ahead (38:37).

In the third quarter, VDU took control of the game – after a 15:4 run, the hosts built up a double-digit lead (56:41). The fourth quarter was a formality: VDU continued to dictate the terms (81:64), and Birštonas, unable to recover, remained winless.

Birštonas was let down by poor shooting from distance – only 5 accurate three-pointers out of 19 (26%), while VDU made 15 out of 33 (45%).

Domas Uosis stood out among the hosts, scoring 27 points (3/6 two-pointers, 5/8 three-pointers, 6/7 free throws), grabbing 3 rebounds, making 4 assists, and collecting 24 efficiency points in 30 minutes.
