VMU basketball team back to the Regional Basketball League Championship
VMU basketball team back to the Regional Basketball League (RBL) new season championship.
On the 22nd of November (Friday) VMU basketball team played in Anykščiai. Representatives from our university met with the KKSC “Elmis” team.
All match were pretty stressful and rough. There was point-to-point fight until the very last minute of the match, bus our team player Vainius Steponavičius, scored fine three-point lead 14 seconds before the end of the match, weighing in favor of VMU. The match ended with a score of 65:63.
On the VMU basketball team the most successful players were: Deividas Petravičius (15 points), Lukas Garliauskas (12 points), Mindaugas Čibiras (10 points) and Vainius Steponavičius (9 points).
On the 23rd of November, VMU basketball team played with Kaišiadorys “Savingė” team. VMU team started fourth quarter with higher gear and won match with result: 95:75.
VMU top scorers in this match: Rokas Grėbliūnas (27 points), Rokas Ruškys (16 points), Aldas Gadeika (15 points), Lukas Garliauskas (11 points) and Vainius Steponavičius (10 points).
