VMU football team became Vice-Champions of Lithuania
A small-scale football tournament (7×7) was held in Klaipėda on March 24-25, 2018. This tournament was organized by Lithuanian Students’ Football League (LSFL).
Eight teams of Lithuanian universities competed for the Cup of LSFL President Povilas Grigonis.

VMU football team has competed against the team of Klaipėda University in the semi-finals of the tournament. VMU has won the game and final result was 4:2.
In the final match VMU team has lost the game against the team of Lithuanian University of Educational Science (LEU) by the result 0:1 and was awarded a second place of the Tournament.
