VMU students and graduates are selected for the best athletes
Lithuanian National Olympic Committee announces nominations for “LTeam Awards 2019” for the best Lithuanian athletes this year. Nominees include a number of VMU students and graduates: volleyball players Urtė Andriukaitytė and Vytenė Vitkauskaitė, basketball player Mindaugas Kuzminskas, rowers Saulius Ritter, Dovydas Nemeravičius and Artūras Sėja, members of the Lithuanian men’s 3×3 basketball team Marijus Užupis and Paulius Beliavičius.
Nominations for all categories were submitted by each Olympic sport federation. The nominees include athletes for achievements from December 1, 2018 to December 1, 2019. A total 9 statues will be represented this year at the prestigious Lithuanian Athletes Awards.
