VMU students ranked third place in a “Dzūkijos taurė” competition
On 21st of December, classic weight pressure tournament “Dzūkijos taurė” took place in Simnas. Representatives of Vytautas Magnus University took third place in the overall team of the competition.
In the age group of adults up to 63 kg, our university student Ieva Balukonytė won first place in group and third place in absolute classification. In the weight category up to 93 kg, Vytautas Magnus university student Dainius Matyžonok squeezed 140 kg while lying down and took the fourth place both in the weight and in the absolute classification.
